The Merger and Demerger of two entities into one without paying any stamp duty under the State Revenue Act is possible only in the form of companies form of organization.Under demerger one entity is separated into two or three entities normally out of family settlements or to sell one part of the unit or for other planning. Under the Merger, the 2 or more entities are merged into one and single entity is formed . Merger and De-mergered occurred only with the orders NCLT.
